WHO IS PUBLIC EYE? Registered Section 21 Non Profit Company, consisting of dedicated community members sharing one common vision: To serve as a watchdog for the community and the local police services, thereby assisting the local police services to safeguard our community against criminal activities and strive for a safe and secure environment To provide a channel through which the community can play a meaningful role in crime prevention. To nurture a sense of unity, dedication and good neighbourly-relations amongst all residents in the Vaal Triangle area of operation. Established 11 July 2016, Public Eye has grown from strength to strength, supporting the safety of the local community. Public Eye is now seen as an integral part of the community safety mechanism and is often called upon by SAPS for assistance in emergency situations.
